2020 Mazda3 Wins AJAC Best Small Car Award
January 26 2020,
The completely redesigned Mazda3 became the sixth car to win its segment after being named Best Small Car in Canada by the Automotive Journalists Association of Canada. The Mazda3 beat out a range of other compact sedans including the Kia Forte.
"Mazda extends its winning record in the Canadian Car of the Year awards by claiming the trophy for Best Small Car in Canada for 2020," said Stephanie Wallcraft, President of AJAC. "AJAC members represent the largest collective of automotive journalist expertise in the country, and their rigorous testing takes place on the roads and weather conditions found from coast to coast. For the Mazda3 to emerge as a winner after our members' months of objective assessment is a true achievement."
Completely redesigned last year and available for the first time with all-wheel drive, the new Mazda3 is now in the hunt for the prestigious Canadian Car of the Year award which will be handed out on February 14th in Toronto during the Canadian International Auto Show.
