One engine is all the CX-9 needs. Each model features a turbocharged 2.5-litre that generates up to 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque. The Pilot also offers a single engine—a 3.5-litre, six-cylinder that produces up to 280 horsepower, but its torque output is nearly 60 lb-ft less than the CX-9.
