The Kia Forte is a different story. All trims but one have a 2.0L four-cylinder that peaks at 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque. This doesn't catch up to the Mazda3's entry powertrain, either. Although one trim includes a turbocharged engine that produces 201 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque, it is only available with the top grade.
The 2022 Mazda Mazda3 features more luxurious equipment
