A few tips to properly disinfect the interior of your car
March 20 2020,

As coronavirus has become a daily subject of discussion, we are starting to pay more attention to how clean our hands are, and how clean our environment is. But what about your car? To avoid coming into contact with germs, proper cleaning of your passenger compartment is strongly recommended. Here's how.
Soap rather than alcohol
The interiors of modern automobiles contain a variety of materials ranging from plastic to leather, rubber and even wood. While some of these surfaces are very resistant, others are more fragile and could be damaged by the use of alcohol-based disinfectants. Instead, prioritize soap and products specially designed for your car. These will effectively disinfect your interior without damaging it.
Places to target
Everything that touches your hands (and those of the passengers) should be washed first. Think of course of the steering wheel, but also of all the buttons, the door interiors, and the gear lever. Not only are these things often the dirtiest, but they are also the ones that you are most likely to get contaminated with. So, rub them vigorously and make sure you don't forget any nook and every cranny.
Wash often
You should clean your vehicle’s interior as often as possible. This is even more true if several people drive the same car or if passengers get on board frequently. Also, make sure you wash your hands before and after each trip.
