Mazda announces new SUVs coming next year including new Mazda CX-50
October 08 2021,

Mazda made a major announcement this week when it confirmed it will be bringing three new sport utility vehicles to the Canadian market this year. The first new SUV to arrive will be the brand-new Mazda CX-50 which will be introduced in November and begin production as early as next January.
The 2022 Mazda CX-50 will slot next to the redesigned 2022 Mazda CX-5 which was introduced to the market last month. The CX-50 is said to have better all-wheel drive capabilities and be designed for buyers who are looking for adventure. It will be based on the Mazda CX-30 and feature impressive capabilities with enhanced all-wheel drive.
Mazda will then introduce two other sport utility vehicles next year. The first will be the Mazda CX-90 closely followed by the Mazda CX-70. These two new midsize SUVs will be built on Mazda's latest generation architecture and will feature an available and brand-new straight-six engine as well as an available plug-in hybrid powertrain. The Mazda CX-90 will have three rows of seats while the CX-70 will be the same size roughly, but with just two rows.
We can’t wait to see the new Mazda sport utility vehicles, starting with the Mazda CX-50 next month. These are definitely exciting times at Mazda, and we can’t wait to see what the future will bring!
