The Mazda3, Mazda3 Sport, CX-30 (with optional front crash prevention tech), CX-50 (built after August 2023), and all-new CX-90 have all met the IIHS's stringent criteria for outstanding front and side impact protection combined with cutting-edge crash avoidance systems.
The plug-in hybrid CX-90 PHEV currently holds the TOP SAFETY PICK award but is expected to soon elevate to the TOP SAFETY PICK+ rating after undergoing additional testing. This consistent excellence across Mazda's lineup showcases their unwavering commitment to safety innovation.
