The 2021 Mazda3 goes Turbo

Mazda’s monumental success with the Mazda3 in Canada speaks volumes, considering the lofty standards Canadian drivers place on their vehicle choices. With its unique styling, admirable performance, and excellent value, it’s no surprise the Mazda3 was recognized with several national awards.

However, Mazda continually listened to its Mazda3 customers to see where it could improve, if at all. The company discovered that the public wanted a fully turbocharged option, and Mazda responded with the 2021 Mazda3 Turbo. Coming in the later part of 2020, it will feature three models with generous premium amenities and performance. These include the Mazda3 GT, the Mazda3 Sport GT, and the 100th Anniversary Edition.

The 2021 Mazda Turbo enters a new performance level

The Turbo is designed for power and enhanced driving. Under the hood, a 2.5L turbocharged four-cylinder generates 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque when burning 93 octane. If high octane is not an option, it still produces 310 lb-ft of torque and 227 horsepower on 87 octane. The Turbo will deliver no matter what level you use.

The Skyactiv-G 2.5L turbocharged engine is calibrated to the Mazda3. This creates a fully integrated powertrain that works with the rest of the vehicle, creating better driving dynamics. The i-Activ all-wheel drive system takes the impressive power and intelligently distributes it. This creates better performance on both challenging and perfect roads, creating a more exhilarating driving experience.

Premium is standard in the 2021 Mazda3 Turbo

The interior of the GT reflects the stylish and aggressive attitude of the exterior. The steering wheel is leather-wrapped with paddle shifters, and it heats when you need it. You will sink into heated seats with leather upholstery while managing a leather-bound gearshift knob. Other accents throughout the cabin provide a sense of luxury.

Every trip’s soundtrack plays through a premium Bose 12-speaker audio system. You can use the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration to play your favorite tunes from your smartphone. If you have other devices, the two front USB ports make hooking them up a snap.

All turbo models include i-Activsense safety suite features as standard equipment. The available Premium Package expands safety capabilities with brand new active technologies.
